About Viking ProductsViking understands that you expect your cue to help you win. That's why Viking aims to make great hitting cues that are sure to enhance your playing experience. Professional players Larry Nevel and Dawn Hopkins can appreciate the greater cue ball control and shot accuracy of Viking cues due to the proprietary ferrule material and pro-tapered shafts. The entire team at Viking brings you 35 years of cue building experience made right here in the United States of America. The Viking WarrantyViking cues are meticulously crafted in the U.S.A. from the finest materials and subject to the strictest quality control standards in the industry. Viking cues are warranted to be free from material and manufacturing defects for the life of the cue. The warranty covers all components of Viking cues, but excludes warpage and normal wear on replaceable parts such as the tip, ferrule, finish, wrap, and bumper. In the unlikely event you discover a flaw in your cue or should it become damaged, please do not attempt to repair your cue. Contact your nearest authorized Viking Cue dealer or contact Viking Cue Mfg., Inc. directly for instructions. Viking cues covered by warranty will be repaired or replaced without charge. The warranty is void if your Viking cue has after-market products or if it has been subjected to mishandling, misuse, abuse, or repair by an entity other than Viking Cue Mfg., Inc. The warranty applies to Viking cues belonging to the original owner, and it is non-transferable. Viking cues are built to withstand enormous pressure applied as a result of straight-line impact through the cue. Wood cues, regardless of the joint style, are not built to withstand side pressure that can be applied or occur in a number of ways including leaning the cue against a wall and the cue hitting the floor as a result of having been dropped. Side pressure, no matter how insignificant, can cause an interior fracture that may or may not initially compromise the finish of the cue. Over time an interior fracture will ultimately reach the surface of the cue and show a visible crack or break. Normal use of the cue can compound a fracture. Damage as a result of side pressure, whether intentional or not, is never covered under warranty. Lastly, Viking cues are not warranted against warping unless, of course, you find the shaft or butt of your cue to be warped at the time of purchase of a NEW AND UNCHALKED cue. (A slightly warped cue shaft or butt will not affect your play.) Since we have no control over how a cue is used or the environment in which a cue is stored, we assume no responsibility for warpage. Most wood will naturally warp over time. Any warping that may occur either in a cue shaft or butt is incidental and difficult to detect. The Cue WarrantyCueStix will honor a one-year warranty for all manufacturer defects. Claims after one year are subject to manufacturer approval. Special note: Warping once a cue is chalked is not considered a defect. |
